REGINA – Three firearms and ammunition were seized in the Al Ritchie neighborhood Saturday night after Regina police executed a search warrant in the area.
Police conducted the search in the 2200 block of McDonald Street around 7:30 pm when they discovered the firearms.

As a result, Christina Genaille, 42, and a 17-year-old were arrested and both face several charges including Careless Use of a Firearm and two charges of Possession of a Firearm or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime.

The 17-year-old is facing an additional 19 charges of mischief under $5,000 in connection to recurring graffiti tags throughout Regina, mostly in the Al Ritchie area.
The pair are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.
