SCUGOG, Ont. – Police say a 24-year-old man has died after a crash involving a stolen car north of Oshawa, Ont.
Durham Regional Police say the man lost control of the car around 9 p.m. Sunday in Scugog Township.

They say the car, which they allege had been stolen that night, left the road and struck a tree.

Police say the driver was the only occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
