TORONTO – Two 16-year-old boys are facing charges following an investigation into a series of four bank robberies in western Toronto.
Police say the first robbery occurred on March 26, 2015, and was followed by other holdups on Aug. 10 and Sept. 5 of 2015, and April 25, 2016.
In three of the instances police say one disguised person entered the bank, handed over a holdup note and stated he had a gun.

In the latest robbery, two males entered a bank with their faces concealed with sunglasses, a scarf, hat and hood, and one of them demanded money and indicated he was armed.

A quantity of cash was handed over in each incident.
One of the boys faces four counts each of robbery and disguise with intent, while the other is charged with single counts of robbery and disguise with intent.
