Police are investigating a double homicide in a Vancouver West End apartment building.
According to Vancouver police, they were called to 1835 Morton Ave. just before 5 p.m. on Sunday and found two people dead.

The victims, a 57-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, were residents of Vancouver and knew each other.
Police have arrested a suspect and said there is no indication that the public is at risk.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity around the apartment building from Saturday afternoon to early evening Sunday, to contact the Vancouver Police Department’s homicide team or Crime Stoppers.
The investigation is ongoing.
