Chilliwack RCMP confirm one man has died following an incident on the 9500-block of Williams Street.
The Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has now identified the victim as 35-year-old Jose Martin Torres.
The shooting took place around 4:20 a.m. Sunday.
Torres was known to police and they say the shooting appears targeted.

Torres was rushed to hospital but died as a result of his injuries.

It is not known if the shooting is linked to recent violence across the Fraser Valley.
