Hamilton police have arrested a 19-year-old man after a shooting on the mountain last weekend.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on September 3, police said three men were involved in an altercation at a residence in the area of Upper Wentworth Street and Stonechurch Road East.

Two of the men suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
An investigation was conducted, and as a result, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Austin Cubitt.

Hamilton Police arrested Cubitt on Saturday.
He’s charged with two counts of discharging a firearm with intent to wound, two counts of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
