A man is in critical condition in hospital after an incident Tuesday evening near Provencher Boulevard and Tache Avenue.
Police were on scene Wednesday morning as part of an investigation that blocked off a lane of traffic.
They said the man, who was believed to be hallucinating, was seen wandering into traffic and attempted to get into several vehicles.
He also entered a restaurant before getting on a nearby bus.
Police said they found the man in medical distress on the bus, and that he became unresponsive and was rushed to hospital.

The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) has been notified. The IIU typically investigates serious incidents involving police officers.
IIU told 680 CJOB that it has not yet determined whether it will investigate, but if the man dies, an investigation will be mandatory.
