Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Whitchurch-Stouffville Ont.
York Regional Police said the collision occurred on Monday, at around 5:40 p.m., in the Vandorf Side Road and Woodbine Avenue area.

Officers said a 2008 Nissan Versa drove off the roadway and collided with a bridge before catching on fire.

“The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in a news release.
Anyone with information, or who may have dashcam or other video footage is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
