Nova Scotia’s auditor general is calling out the department of education for a lack of transparency when it comes to choosing new school sites in Halifax. In her report on school capital planning, she says an increase in province-wide enrolment has made the need for more schools greater than ever, but decisions need to be guided by evidence.
