Peterborough Police have sent out a warning online concerning a black bear that has been reportedly sighted throughout May in the city's west end. Though the black bear has been described as "timid" the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is reminding residents to exercise caution if they come in contact with the bear, and to call their BearWise Tip Line so they can track its location.
